Reflection:
Overall the unit was great. I think that our act was great with many features which made it look realistic. My acting was great in my opinion, I followed the choreography and and worked with my group really well. Our main topic was about a nerd being bullied by 2 different bullies who were offending his hobby and making fun of him. The moves we used were slaps, stomach punches, pushes, hair pulls and the neck break. The slaps and stomach punches looked the most realistic. I could identify that the audience were shocked and amazed of what we have done. There were many ways we could have improved on such as; adding more dialogue and improving our techniques and skills. Throughout the drama unit I have learnt a lot. I think that the most fun unit was stage combat because I love fight scenes especially in movies. I have learnt a lot throughout this unit and I hope we learn more in art and music.

Slap freeze with reflection
This is a photo of our slap in a freeze. Overall we have acted well and the slap looked so realistic and the reactions from both of us were great after the slap. We have identified many ways of doing the Kano which would fit well in the act. I think we were doing great but we could have improved by creating more tension throughout us speaking and we can improve with our positions. I hope we do more activities like this in the future.

Melodrama unit reflection.
We have developed cooperation and communication by working together and not arguing. We were fair and most of us have done equal work. We were creative by developing new ideas. We analyzed new features and new ways of editing.
My over exaggerating was good and my speaking was loud and clear while performing. My language was understandable and appropriate.
Each of us had a fair amount of acting and all of us contributed in the acting. All of us had a character or two.
We were all happy with what we had to do and we followed our plan.
Yes because many films and acting these days doesn't have much of over exaggeration so maybe what we have filmed might influence many films by improving there story with over exaggeration.
The reactions from the viewers were great. They were all smiling and enjoying the movies. We got good remarks and in the future we would like to see more of this.
We can use this type of acting and we can change our facial expression and improve on our original aim. We had done a lot and it will help us in stage combat.

Peer assessment silent movie
Alice, Samia, Azaan, Nazih
Substantial.
There were many scenes which were funny and understood. I can identify who was who and what they were doing. Nazih's facial expressions were great and he made so much sense. Azaan was not using as many facial expressions as Nazih. Alice and Samia did not exaggerate much.
Mayukh, Jonas, Noor, Runa
Substantial.
I think that their acting was great but their facial expressions weren't shown much. They had great music backing them up. I think jonas' facial expressions were great. It was really funny and interesting.
Tanya, Maanya, Danyal, Nadia, Timur.

Nadia and Tanya had great facial expressions and acting. Their team could have been using better graphics and music. There act was really modern and different compared to the other groups so they did great.

Mixcraft Duck's theme
I think I have done quite well again. I have noticed that I have been improving and that I can do it independently now. Omar did not want to do an extra one because he thought they were too hard. I hope you enjoyed it.

Mixcraft for Wolf's theme
I think I have done quite well again and also worked really effectively with my amazing partner on this. I have given effort and i hope you enjoy it as well as the others. Omar has played it differently again but with my help it was clear to him really quickly.
Mixcraft for peters theme
Here is my project that I worked on with Omar. It took us a lesson to finish this theme on his account and mine. The techniques were the same as last time but this time we had to crop most of the short film only to peter's theme. We started off by uploading the peter and the wolf story again onto mix-craft, We searched for peter's theme then deleted the musical instrument playing of the video and recorded myself playing the theme. We learnt a new technique that we can move the audio into different areas on the block.

We searched for the hunters theme then deleted the audio of the video and recorded myself playing the video.
I think I have done quite well and also worked really effectively with my partner. I have improved my piano playing and my pitch and note reading.

My pitch notes homework
In class we had to pick ten letters and turn them into music notes. We had to try and find the largest words and write pitch notes. Most of the notes in between the lines and in a specific area. It was such fun and educative doing this I really hope we get homework like this instead of boring ones. It took me ten minutes to finish it off and post it on my blog. The longest word we found was decabbaged which was 10 letters long. I hope it is good and everyone will learn from it. This s my homework and in class we are in progress of learning all the themes.

Wolf's Theme
Wolf"s Theme:
Reflection:
When I have done the wolf's I thought it was easier than the peter's theme because of the notes and pitches. I think I have done really well and I have also really enjoyed playing it because of the rhythm. I have a piano at home and that is why I am ahead of class and lessons. I practice twice a week just to remember the themes by heart.

Peter's theme
Peter's Theme
Reflection:
The peters theme was harder than the hunters theme because there were many more note and many more places you had to play on. I used flats for the first time. It was harder and more complicated than the hunters theme but I have learnt it really quickly. I am improving my piano skills really quickly and I am also helping others in learning the themes when I have finished.

Pitch notes
At the top are the pitch notes and they are the letters you play on the piano with. To remember it you have to remember the first letters of Every Good Boy Deserves Football and face for the notes and pitches between the lines.
The one on the left is the table which has the amount of beats the note has while playing the piano. There are five main ones Semibreve, Minim, Crotchet, Quaver, Semiquaver. These are all used to play wonderful music and entertain others. In class we were practicing the beats by clapping our hands and playing different beats from the wolfs theme and peters theme.

Questions to think of
How will you encourage people to participate and represent their culture?
We can encourage people by making them listen and showing them our work and stories which will influence them and they would want to make their own we can make the colored fabrics into different areas to catch attention of kids.
How will you differentiate your stall so that younger students and adults can get involved?
For the adults we had separated scissors and they could cut their own shapes from the pieces of fabric but for the students they had ready made shapes of fabric and they had glue on their side.
How will you lead and organize your workshop? Will you demonstrate techniques/ Help with ideas?
We had 3big bold titles and it was really eye catching each person in our group had different roles. Amir was responsible for demonstrating the techniques to everyone that needed help.
How will you know that your workshop has been a success?
You would have known because of the amount of patchwork quilts at the end. Also because of the participants that came on international day.
What will a successful Patchwork square look like?
It would have told a story and everyone around you would have understood it very well. It should be understandable and look really good.

Reflection on Art workshop.
In art class we have been preparing an art workshop for quite a long time. During the first couple of weeks we had to make a patchwork square. When everyone brought theirs in we had to order them from really good ones to ones that can improve. The next week we had to sit in groups and each group had to organize the layout of the stall and the materials going to be used on international day. We had to make a video and a power point to introduce them to the stall. The next week was quite difficult to organize when many people had the parade of nations. So miss asked us to stay after school on Monday and to come in lunch on that day. We had to take down all the materials to the cafeteria and take the tables for the stall. The next day was the actual day and my group was going to start our shift at 10:15, when my group went we saw that many squares were made and many people had come. Over the 45 minutes my group were working we had made about 7 new squares. At the end of international day we had about 30 new squares to make the huge patchwork quilt. Miss was really proud of us and it was the first time I have made a stall and worked for it.
For international day my group members were: Amir, Andrijia, Mayukh, Mohamed and I. Amir's role was to show the people the video and introduce the people to our stall. Mohamed provided extra materials and helped the people if they needed help. Mayukh showed people the cut out techniques. I helped the parents understand what they were supposed to do. Andrijia helped the children and pinned most of the work on to the wall. The items that were collected and prepared were, glue, scissors, and different colored fabric for the adults and the kids. The fabric were separated into colors and the parents had to cut their own shapes but the kids used the shapes already cut for them. Our workshop went really well and most of us enjoyed it especially me because it was the first time I made a stall in a group with friends from school. Many people came and made much more squares they made more than our class has made, we saw many stories on the quilts and it was really fun.. I enjoyed working with my friends and I also enjoyed making my square at home. I learnt how to be collaborative and organize a workshop. I learnt how to make a cut out and make a patchwork square.
